This work was carried out in June 1985 and was the first work McFall attempted after the removal

(due to cancer) of his left eye on 4/4/1985.

a prestige range of figurines ...  Mr McFall visited Burslem and it was decided that he would produce

a model on the theme of childhood, which was delivered in September 1985."
